Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Doveth platform and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Doveth. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Service.

Your acceptance of these Terms, whether by creating an account or otherwise using the Service, has the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature on a physical contract. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and any other persons who access or use the Service in any manner.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

2. Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply: “Service” or “Platform” refers to the Doveth website (doveth.com), application, and all related services and features. “Doveth,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Doveth, a UDYAM-registered enterprise operating under the laws of India, providing services globally through doveth.com. “User” or “you” or “your” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service.

“Verified User” refers to a User who has completed account registration and the identity verification process. “Content” refers to all text, images, videos, audio, documents, profile information, messages, and other materials uploaded, posted, or transmitted through the Service.

“Circle” refers to the list of verified connections a Verified User has on the Platform. “Discover” refers to the feature that allows Verified Users to browse and view other verified user profiles. “Third-Party Services” refers to external services integrated with or linked from the Platform.

3. Platform Description and Purpose

Doveth is a free, verification-first digital networking and communication platform designed to facilitate verified digital networking and secure communication between Verified Users. Doveth is not a dating, matchmaking, or romance application, an escort service, adult content service, physical introduction agency, a marketplace, or a swipe-based matching service. The Platform is built on the principle that quality, accountability, and safety form the foundation of productive interactions.

Doveth also operates a public relationship Q&A platform where users can ask questions, share answers, and discuss topics related to dating, marriage, breakups, trust, and personal growth. Q&A content is publicly accessible without requiring an account. Posting questions, answers, and votes requires a free verified account.

The Platform employs a verification model as a trust-gating mechanism. The identity verification process functions as an authentication step intended to deter bots, fraudulent actors, and low-intent participation, thereby supporting a safer and higher-quality network. Core features of the Service include verified user discovery based on location and preferences, a connection request system (“Circle“), secure communication between accepted connections, profile creation with photos and personal details, and safety tools such as blocking and reporting. All features are available at no cost to verified users.

Doveth facilitates introductions and communication between Verified Users. All interactions and any outcomes arising from those interactions are solely the responsibility of the individual Verified Users involved. Doveth provides a free digital service that grants access to the Platform and its features upon successful identity verification. No physical product or physical service is delivered.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Doveth is a purely digital service. All features and services are delivered electronically over the internet at no cost. No physical goods, physical services, or in-person services are provided. Doveth is NOT an escort service, adult content platform, physical matchmaking agency, dating application, or any service that facilitates physical meetings. Doveth provides digital networking and communication infrastructure only. Users are solely responsible for any interactions that occur outside the Platform.

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE VALUE OF A DIGITAL NETWORKING PLATFORM IS INHERENTLY SUBJECTIVE. DOVETH DOES NOT GUARANTEE COMPATIBILITY, MUTUAL INTEREST, OR ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME. USE OF THE PLATFORM PROVIDES ACCESS TO ITS FEATURES — NOT ANY GUARANTEED RESULT, NUMBER OF CONNECTIONS, OR TYPE OF INTERACTION.

4. Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must: (a) be at least eighteen (18) years of age; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction; (c) not be barred from receiving or using the Service under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction; (d) not have been previously banned, suspended, or removed from the Platform for violating these Terms; and (e) provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and throughout your use of the Service.

Each individual is permitted only one (1) account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts, sharing account credentials, or allowing another person to use your account is strictly prohibited. If we discover that you have provided false information about your age, identity, or any other material fact, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account without notice.

5. Account Registration and Security

To become a Verified User, you must register an account by providing your name, email address, password, date of birth, and other requested information. Your email address serves as your unique identity key on the Platform and cannot be changed after registration. You must verify your email address before gaining full access to the Service.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify Doveth of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Doveth shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials. Password reset tokens are single-use and expire one (1) hour after issuance. Changing your password from Settings requires your current password and will terminate all other active sessions.

6. Free Platform Access

Doveth is a completely free platform. Access to all of the Platform’s features, including Discover, Circle, messaging, calls, and full user profiles, is provided at no cost upon completion of the identity verification process. There are no fees, subscriptions, or charges of any kind associated with using Doveth.

The identity verification process is designed to ensure that all Verified Users have completed authentication and are committed to participating in the Doveth network. Upon successful verification, all core Platform features are activated, including verified user discovery, connection requests, profile creation and management, messaging and calls with accepted connections, and safety tools. The public Q&A platform is also available at no cost: ask questions, post answers, upvote content, bookmark discussions, and search across all relationship topics. Access is granted for the lifetime of your account, subject to your continued compliance with these Terms.

7. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

As a condition of your use of the Service, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities: (a) harassing, bullying, threatening, intimidating, or stalking any other Verified User; (b) posting or transmitting content that is hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; (c) engaging in fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation of your identity, age, or other material facts; (d) sending spam, unsolicited commercial messages, pyramid schemes, or chain letters; (e) sharing, distributing, or transmitting any content involving minors in any harmful or inappropriate context.

Additionally, you agree not to: (f) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service; (g) use any automated means, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar tools, to access or collect data from the Platform; (h) circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control features of the Service; (i) share your account credentials with any other person or allow any other person to access your account; (j) create fake, duplicate, or misleading profiles; (k) solicit personal information from other Verified Users for commercial, fraudulent, or malicious purposes; (l) use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or termination without prior notice. Doveth reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and to report any suspected criminal activity.

8. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all Content that you upload, post, or transmit through the Service, including profile photos, bio text, and messages. By uploading or posting Content to the Platform, you grant Doveth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify your Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your Content or your account, except to the extent that your Content has been shared with or viewed by other Verified Users.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and share your Content; (b) your Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party; (c) your Content does not contain any viruses, malware, or other harmful code; and (d) your Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws. Doveth reserves the right to remove or disable access to any Content that violates these Terms, without prior notice to you.

You are solely responsible for the Content you post, share, or transmit through the Service, including but not limited to messages, ratings, reports, and reflections. Doveth does not endorse any user-generated Content and disclaims all liability in connection with such Content to the fullest extent permitted by law. Content you submit, including reflections, may be reviewed or disclosed to comply with legal obligations, protect the safety of users, or respond to valid requests from authorities in any jurisdiction.

Q&A content, including questions, answers, comments, and votes posted on the relationship Q&A platform, constitutes user-generated Content governed by this section. By posting Q&A content, you grant Doveth the same license described above. Q&A content is publicly visible to all visitors, including unregistered users, and may be indexed by search engines. You should not include personally identifiable information or private details in Q&A posts. Doveth reserves the right to remove, edit, or moderate any Q&A content that violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

The Doveth name, logo, branding, visual design, user interface, underlying software code, and all associated intellectual property are the exclusive property of Doveth and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and trade dress displayed on the Platform are proprietary to Doveth.

You may not: (a) reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission from Doveth; (b) create derivative works based on the Service or any part thereof; (c) use Doveth’s name, logo, or branding in any manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without prior written consent; or (d) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices. Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations you submit to Doveth regarding the Service become the sole property of Doveth, and you waive any claims to compensation or ownership thereof.

10. Circle (Connection) System

The Circle system is the mechanism through which Verified Users establish connections on the Platform. To connect with another Verified User, you must send a connection request. The recipient may accept or decline the request at their sole discretion. If accepted, a mutual connection is created, enabling private messaging between both Verified Users.

Either Verified User may remove a connection at any time. Removing a connection immediately terminates private messaging access between the two Verified Users.

Blocking a Verified User results in mutual invisibility. Blocked Verified Users cannot view each other’s profiles, send connection requests, initiate communication, or otherwise interact through the Platform.

Doveth does not guarantee any specific number of connections, interactions, or communications. The Circle system is a digital tool that enables Verified Users to initiate contact. All decisions to connect, communicate, or continue interactions are made independently by the Verified Users involved.

11. Communication Infrastructure and Messaging

Private messaging is available between Verified Users who have a mutual connection (accepted connection request). The Service supports multiple message types, including text, images, video, audio, and document files. Messages are stored on Doveth servers for the purpose of providing the communication service, ensuring platform safety, enabling content moderation, and supporting abuse investigations.

Doveth may monitor, review, or analyze messages to detect and prevent violations of these Terms, including harassment, fraud, spam, and illegal activity. Message delivery statuses (sent, delivered, read) are tracked as part of the messaging feature. Message data is removed when your account data is permanently deleted following the applicable retention period described in Section 16.

12. Ratings and Trust System

Doveth operates an internal rating and trust system. Verified Users may be rated by other Verified Users on a scale determined by the Platform. These ratings are strictly internal and are used exclusively for trust monitoring, platform quality assessment, and moderation purposes. Ratings are never displayed publicly to any Verified User. You cannot view your own rating or the ratings of any other Verified User.

By using the Service, you consent to being rated by other Verified Users who interact with you. Ratings may be used by Doveth to inform moderation decisions, including but not limited to account reviews, feature restrictions, or termination in cases of consistently poor conduct. Doveth reserves the right to modify, adjust, or reset ratings at its sole discretion.

13. Anonymous Reflections ("Reflect" Feature)

The Platform allows Verified Users to submit anonymous reflections (feedback) about other Verified Users they have interacted with, via the "Reflect" feature. Reflections are intended to provide constructive, respectful, and honest feedback to help improve the quality of the network. While reflections are designed to be anonymous to the recipient, Doveth may retain identifying information (such as user ID, IP address, or account metadata) for moderation, abuse prevention, and legal compliance purposes.

Reflections are subject to moderation and may be reviewed by Doveth staff to detect and prevent abuse, harassment, or violations of these Terms or applicable law. Doveth reserves the right to remove, redact, or take action on any reflection that violates our policies or applicable law. In the event of a valid legal request, court order, or if required to protect the safety of any person, Doveth may disclose the identity of the author of a reflection to law enforcement or other authorities, as required by law in any applicable jurisdiction.

By using the Reflect feature, you agree to submit only respectful, lawful, and truthful feedback. You acknowledge that anonymity is not absolute and may be lifted in cases of abuse, legal obligation, or safety concerns. Doveth is not responsible for the content of reflections submitted by users, and all users are solely responsible for their own submissions.

14. Reporting and Moderation

Verified Users may report violations of these Terms through the in-app reporting feature. All reports are reviewed by the Doveth moderation team. Report statuses include: pending review, under investigation, and resolved. Doveth reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in response to a report, including issuing warnings, temporarily suspending accounts, permanently terminating accounts, or referring matters to law enforcement.

Filing false, malicious, or frivolous reports may result in action against the reporting Verified User, including potential account suspension or termination. Doveth is under no obligation to disclose the outcome of any report or investigation to the reporter or to any other party, except as required by law.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Doveth reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms; suspected fraud or illegal activity; behavior that is harmful to other Verified Users or to the reputation of the Platform; or at the request of law enforcement or other governmental authorities.

The following provisions shall survive any termination of these Terms or your account: Section 9 (Intellectual Property Rights), Section 17 (Disclaimers), Section 18 (Limitation of Liability), Section 19 (Indemnification), Section 20 (Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration), Section 21 (Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver), and Section 22 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction).

16. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Settings section of the Platform. Account deletion requires password confirmation. Upon deletion, your account is immediately deactivated (soft-deleted), and your profile becomes invisible to other Verified Users. Your data is retained for a period of three (3) months from the date of deletion to allow for potential account recovery.

If you wish to rejoin the Platform within the three-month recovery period, your Circle connections and message history may be restored. However, you will be required to complete the identity verification process again to regain access. After the three-month retention period, all personal data associated with your account is permanently and irreversibly deleted (hard-deleted) from Doveth’s systems.

17. Disclaimers and “As-Is” Provision

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DOVETH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

DOVETH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; (C) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED; (D) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS; OR (E) ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OTHER VERIFIED USERS IS ACCURATE, TRUTHFUL, COMPLETE, OR SAFE.

DOVETH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR, ACTIONS, OR INACTIONS OF ANY VERIFIED USER OR THIRD PARTY. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER VERIFIED USERS, WHETHER ONLINE OR IN PERSON. DOVETH STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT YOU EXERCISE CAUTION AND GOOD JUDGMENT WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH OR MEETING OTHER VERIFIED USERS.

DOVETH DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE PLATFORM PROVIDES ACCESS TO A VERIFIED NETWORK AND DIGITAL TOOLS THAT FACILITATE USER DISCOVERY AND COMMUNICATION. ACCESS TO THESE FEATURES CONSTITUTES THE SERVICE PROVIDED. DOVETH DOES NOT PROMISE, WARRANT, OR GUARANTEE THAT ANY PARTICULAR CONNECTION, INTRODUCTION, INTERACTION, OR OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOVETH, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF DOVETH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL DOVETH’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, DOVETH’S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Doveth and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (d) any Content you upload, post, or transmit through the Service; (e) your interactions with other Verified Users, whether online or in person; or (f) any misrepresentation made by you.

Doveth reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify Doveth, and you agree to cooperate fully with our defense of such claims. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of Doveth.

20. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Doveth at support@doveth.com. You must provide a written description of the dispute, including all relevant facts and your requested resolution. The parties shall use good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days of receipt of the notice.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, either party may initiate binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding individual arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended) of India. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, or in the absence of mutual agreement, appointed in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be India, and the language of arbitration shall be English.

The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on both parties. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction in India. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys’ fees in the arbitration, unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in India.

21. Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND DOVETH EACH AGREE THAT DISPUTES SHALL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. You may not bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. All disputes must be resolved individually through arbitration as described in Section 20 or through a court of competent jurisdiction in India.

If any court or arbitrator determines that the individual dispute resolution requirement set forth in this section is void or unenforceable for any reason, or that a proceeding can proceed on a class basis, then the arbitration provisions set forth in Section 20 shall be deemed null and void in their entirety with respect to that particular claim, and the dispute shall proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction in India. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit any rights available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 of India.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to conflict of law principles. Regardless of your country of residence, these Terms are governed by Indian law. For any claims that are not subject to arbitration under Section 20, you consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of and venue in the competent courts in India, and you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

23. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not owned or controlled by Doveth. Doveth has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, practices, availability, or security of any third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of that third party. Doveth does not endorse any third-party service and shall not be liable for any harm or damages arising from your interaction with any third-party service.

24. Force Majeure

Doveth shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any obligation under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond Doveth’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, civil disturbances, government actions or orders, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, failures of third-party service providers, fire, flood, earthquake, or any other event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or prevented.

25. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction or arbitrator, the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Doveth regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral. The failure of Doveth to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

26. Photo Verification and Liveness Limitations

Doveth uses advanced face detection technology to verify that each user uploads a real photo of themselves. During onboarding, our system requires a live photo taken with your device’s camera, and we use industry-leading tools to detect faces and prevent most forms of fraud.

After completing live photo verification, you may upload additional photos to your profile. However, all photos you upload must be of yourself and must depict a real human. Uploading images of non-humans, celebrities, or other people is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or removal. Doveth reserves the right to request additional verification or remove photos that do not comply with these requirements.

However, due to current browser and device limitations, our verification process cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that every photo is captured from a live person rather than a screen or printed image. For example, most consumer devices do not provide access to infrared (IR) or depth cameras via the browser, which are required for full liveness detection.

What this means for you: We take strong measures to keep Doveth safe and authentic, but no online verification is 100% foolproof. If we detect suspicious activity or receive credible reports, we may request additional verification or take action on accounts as needed. By using Doveth, you acknowledge that while we strive to ensure all users are genuine, some limitations are inherent to current technology.

Our Commitment: We continuously monitor and improve our verification systems as new technology becomes available. We are transparent about our methods and their limitations, and we never compromise on user privacy or safety. We encourage users to report any suspicious profiles, and we act swiftly on all reports.

Your Trust Matters: Doveth is built on trust, safety, and verified connections. We are committed to maintaining a premium, secure environment for all Verified Users. We will update our verification process as soon as more robust, privacy-respecting liveness detection becomes available for web platforms.

27. Communications and Consent

By creating an account on Doveth, you consent to receive electronic communications from Doveth, including but not limited to: account-related emails (email verification, password reset, security alerts), platform notifications (connection requests, messages, moderation actions), service announcements and updates, and promotional communications about new features or offerings. You may manage your notification preferences in Settings. Transactional and security-related communications are essential to the operation of your account and cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.

28. Changes to Terms and Contact Information

Doveth reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated ‘Last Revised’ date. We may, but are not obligated to, provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification at our discretion. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updates, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

29. Geographic Restrictions and Local Law Compliance

Doveth operates globally; however, access to or use of digital networking or communication platforms may be restricted, regulated, or prohibited in certain countries, territories, or jurisdictions. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your access to and use of the Service is lawful in your country, state, or locality.

You must not access or use the Service from any jurisdiction where such use is restricted, sanctioned, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law. Any attempt to access or use the Service from a prohibited jurisdiction may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. Doveth may restrict, modify, or remove features to comply with applicable laws or valid legal requests from governmental authorities.

By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are accessing the Service from a jurisdiction where its use is lawful; (b) your use of the Service does not violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation; and (c) you are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws applicable to you.

Doveth does not represent or warrant that the Service is appropriate, permitted, or available in every jurisdiction. If the Service, or any portion thereof, is deemed illegal or non-compliant in your jurisdiction, you must immediately cease use of the Service.

Doveth reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, block, or terminate access to the Service from any country, region, or territory where it determines that legal, regulatory, sanctions-related, or compliance risks may exist.

You acknowledge and agree that Doveth shall not be liable for any fines, penalties, legal actions, or other consequences arising from your use of the Service in a jurisdiction where such use is restricted, prohibited, or regulated.

30. Offline Interactions

Doveth is a digital-only platform. All services provided by Doveth are delivered electronically. Doveth does not facilitate, arrange, coordinate, or guarantee any in-person meetings, physical introductions, or offline encounters of any kind.

Doveth is not responsible for any interactions, meetings, communications, or transactions that occur outside of the Platform, whether initiated through the Service or otherwise. Any in-person meeting between Verified Users is undertaken voluntarily and at the sole risk of the individuals involved. Doveth shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, dispute, or harm arising from such interactions.

31. Digital Services Delivery

Doveth provides the following digital services, delivered electronically over the internet at no cost: (a) Identity Verification and Network Authentication — a one-time digital verification process that grants authenticated access to the Platform’s features; (b) Communication Infrastructure — secure messaging, media sharing, and real-time communication features between verified connections, available to all verified users; (c) Relationship Q&A Platform — a public question-and-answer service where verified users can ask questions, post answers, vote, bookmark discussions, and explore relationship topics including dating, marriage, breakups, trust, and personal growth, available to all verified users at no cost.

All services are Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings provided free of charge. No physical goods, physical services, or in-person services are provided, shipped, or delivered at any point. Service activation is instantaneous upon successful completion of the verification process. Doveth targets 99.9% platform uptime, subject to scheduled maintenance and force majeure events as described in Section 24. Service delivery is considered complete upon activation of platform access.

The Platform is classified as an Information Technology service under Indian law, specifically under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and applicable GST regulations for digital/electronic services.

32. Acceptable Use Policy

The following uses of the Platform are expressly permitted: professional and personal networking, secure communication between verified connections, sharing content within the Platform’s guidelines, building and managing your Circle of verified contacts, and using discovery features to find and connect with other Verified Users.

The following uses of the Platform are strictly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate account termination: solicitation or facilitation of physical escort services, adult content services, or any form of commercial sexual activity; posting, sharing, or transmitting explicit, pornographic, or obscene content; using the Platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotional purposes without prior written consent from Doveth; engaging in any form of harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or threats; attempting to defraud, scam, or deceive other Verified Users; circumventing security measures or access restrictions; using the Platform to violate any applicable law or regulation.

Doveth reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether any use of the Platform violates this Acceptable Use Policy and to take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.

33. Content Moderation Policy

Doveth employs a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate content on the Platform. Automated systems may flag content for review based on patterns, keywords, or behavioral indicators. Human moderators review flagged content and reported violations to make final determinations.

Moderation actions may include, but are not limited to: content removal or restriction, account warnings, temporary account suspension, permanent account termination, and referral to law enforcement where required by law or necessary to protect user safety. Doveth aims to process moderation actions promptly but does not guarantee specific response times.

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal within thirty (30) days of the action by contacting support@doveth.com with the subject line “Moderation Appeal.” Appeals are reviewed by a separate moderator and you will be notified of the outcome. Doveth’s decision on appeals is final.
