So me and Sarah been talking for 6 months. Met through family friend, parents kinda pushing, but I thought we had real connection. Last week she said she loves me, but then straight say she not ready for relationship. I just sit there like... what? If you love someone, why not ready? Got feel already, but she keep saying she need space, want focus on career. But we already introduced to each other's family. My mum asking when wedding, and I cannot even answer. She say she don't want to break things off, but also don't want to move forward. Steady lah, but I'm tired playing this back and forth game. My cousin say she toying with me, but I don't want to believe that. Just feel stuck. Cannot make it. What even is love if it come with so many conditions? 😭

i've been in a similar situation before, when someone said they loved me but weren't ready... it's confusing, right? what i did was give her space, like she asked for, but also had an open conversation about what 'not ready' meant to her. turns out she was going thru a lot of pressure from work & family, so we decided to take things slow, focus on building our connection without the relationship label. it wasn't easy, but it worked out for us... you should try talking to sarah again, see if you can get a better understanding of what's going on in her head
