Partner checks my phone all the time, says it's love
My wife, Min-jee, started checking my phone a few months ago—says she just worries too much and it's because she loves me. At first it was little things, like looking at my messages when I left it on the table. Now she asks for my password, checks my DMs, even gets quiet if I get a notification from a female coworker. I work late sometimes and she texts nonstop, then gets mad if I dont reply fast. Last week she found a selfie I took at the office with the team and asked why I was smiling with Hye-rin like that. I said it was just a group pic, nobody was doing anything, but she said I dont get how it feels to be paranoid. My mom noticed I’ve been stressed and asked if Min-jee is still “managing” things. Aigo… I feel like Im not trusted, but also like Im overreacting? She cries and says Im hiding something, but I just want to breathe. Its exhausting. We have a nice life, good jobs, but this constant watching makes me feel like I’m failing her. Dont know if this is normal or if I’m living with a red flag 🤦
